Wash yourself, make yourself clean; put away the evil of your doings from before my eyes; cease to do evil; Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow. Come now, and let us reason together, says Yahuah: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land: But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of Yahuah has spoken it. Yesha'yahu (Isaiah) 1:16-20 | את Cepher. I want the above image and scriptural verse to resonate with you for a moment before contemplating your purpose among the faithful seeking everlasting peace. The overall message from the first book of Yesha’yahu is overcoming evil and staying upright in the sight of YAHUAH but evil can include numerous elements of human behavior that are as subtle as a passing thought or very outlandish as inflicting injury or causing death. Paraphrasing Ya`aqov (James) 3:9-13 from the| את Cepher, who is believed to be the brother of Yahusha aka Emmanuel pronounced ee-mah-noo-EL, which is actually a compound of two words, (Immanu) means "with us." and (El) is a name for the creator. When Emmanuel combined, the name means "El with us". Ya’aqov was a non-believer and converted after witnessing Yahusha Ha’Mashiach firsthand, was called a "pillar" by the Apostle Paul gave instructions for all converts and Talmidiym on how to train the spiritual mind to overcome carnal reasoning. Ya’aqov said a majority of converts bless Elohiym, but curse individuals made after the similitude of Elohiym. In lame men's terms, you can't be fully invested in the faith while propelling evil language out of the same mouth that proceeds blessing and cursing. Let converts who have been enlightened with chokmah (wisdom), take the lead among you in your congregation to instill instructions upon Talmidiym so hypocrisy will decrease and evil will be forgotten. The definition of Evil which is an adjective is profoundly immoral and wicked that embodies the true characteristics of the devil. Now when you hear the devil made me do this or flee from the devil in your congregation, this is more metaphorical since it applies to very wicked or cruel people that are mischievously clever or self-willed. These individuals appear righteous or upright in public but in private or among their inner circle their mindset or actions display their true cruel nature. This brings us to this week's discourse regarding attributes of transcendent reasoning which have been pushed aside or have been replaced for carnal desires.
In the early months of 2025, there has been a political movement to downsize the government workforce and control spending on non essential programs that has flown under the moral radar. From education to healthcare to law enforcement, budgets have been slashed in half while budgets have increased to fulfill campaign promises. These budget cuts have made it extremely difficult for families to survive in rural and urban areas while wealthy communities are not affected or unfazed as of yet. Network news channels are established to report on the political or law and order narrative so the moral aspect of human nature isn't news worthy. This equates to reaching individuals capable of making a difference outside of the daily news feed every Sunday in mainstream religious denominations. From conservative to Jewish, baptists to catholics, most sermons reflect the power of prayers but are the messages of giving freely going in one ear and out the other? Ask a convert from your congregation what are the fundamental elements of your faith which must include Liberality; ▸ noun 1 the quality of giving or spending freely. 2 the quality of being open to new ideas and free from prejudice. Responsibility; ▸ noun 1 the state or fact of having a duty to deal with something or of having control over someone. 2 the opportunity or ability to act independently and make decisions without authorization. 3 a moral obligation to behave correctly toward or in respect of. When someone says they love Jesus and follow him without limitations, what do they really mean and are they being truthful? It is very easy to say one thing but when you must put weight behind the comment, most people quickly forget what they said. Wherefore the people did chide with Mosheh and said: Give us water that we may drink. And Mosheh said unto them: Why chide ye with me? Wherefore do ye tempt Yahuah? And the people thirsted there for water; and the people murmured against Mosheh, and said: Wherefore is this that you have brought us up out of Mitsrayim, to kill us and our children and our cattle with thirst? And Mosheh cried unto El-Yahuah, saying: What shall I do unto this people? They be almost ready to stone me. And Yahuah said unto Mosheh: Go on before the people and take with you of the elders of Yashar'el; and your rod, wherewith you smote the river, take in your hand, and go. Behold, I will stand before you there upon the rock in Chorev; and you shall smite the rock, and there shall come water out of it, that the people may drink. And Mosheh did so in the sight of the elders of Yashar'el. Shemoth (Exodus) 17:2-6 | את Cepher

The classic film that depicts the situation that many families are currently experiencing and a must see is Claudine (1974). The movie is a romantic drama for all ages starring Diahann Carroll as a single mother of six living on welfare in Harlem, New York. Rupert, starring James Earl Jones, is a charismatic and good humor sanitation worker for the city that quickly falls head over heels, but Claudine doubts that their relationship is good for her six children, and Rupert, is reluctant to take on fatherhood or relinquish his bachelor status. Not only does Claudine have a phenomenal soundtrack that features Curtis Mayfield and songs by Gladys Knight & the Pips, this romantic comedy delves into the realms of our social consciences by examining issues affecting urban and rural areas relatable today as it was in the seventies. Fatherless homes and single unwed mothers with a multiplicity
of offspring. Adolescents succumbing to peer pressure surrounded by the
cycles of poverty and parents forced to rely upon the welfare system for housing and basic necessities. Several scenes bring home the hypocritical mindset of service workers when interacting with individuals receiving aid. Claudine famously states, "If I don't feed my kids, it's child neglect. If I go out and get a job, and make a little money on the side, then that's cheating. I stay at home and I'm lazy. I can't win”. In another scene, Rupert is confronted by Claudine welfare worker, Miss Tayback (Elisa Loti), who frequently pops up unannounced to Claudine's apartment for a routine check-in and after a search of the home, discovers Rupert hiding in the closet and for a man, this would seem a very humiliating situation. Miss Tayback informs him that welfare stipulates that a live-in partner who isn't married to a recipient can cause their benefits to be reduced or cut entirely. Her pop-up visits bring into reality the intrusive acts of welfare workers punishing recipients for having two parents or taking side jobs that increase the dehumanizing nature of the welfare system. The film displays the government attempted solutions to the "War on Poverty" with monthly support stipends but penalized the men and forced them out of the home and put up barriers that kept families separated. Is it not to deal your bread to the hungry, and that you bring the poor that are cast out to your house? When you see the naked, that you cover him; and that you hide not yourself from your own flesh? Then shall your light break forth as the morning, and your health shall spring forth speedily: and your righteousness shall go before you; the glory of Yahuah shall be your rearward. Then shall you call, and Yahuah shall answer; you shall cry, and he shall say: Here I am. If you take away from the midst of you the yoke, the putting forth of the finger, and speaking vanity; And if you draw out your soul to the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted soul; then shall your light rise in obscurity, and your darkness be as the noonday: And Yahuah shall guide you continually, and satisfy your soul in drought, and make fat your bones: and you shall be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not. Yesha'yahu (Isaiah) 58:7-11 | את Cepher.

It has been almost fifty years since the release of Claudine and political parties are still playing hot potato with the lives of families needing government supplemental assistance. Many conservatives argue that social programs like welfare can foster a cycle of dependence on the government rather than encouraging self-reliance. From this perspective, individuals are expected to take responsibility for their financial well-being and life choices, including decisions about family size. Fiscal conservatism: Traditional conservatives emphasize limited government spending and balancing the budget. From this viewpoint, large-scale social safety net programs are often seen as fiscally irresponsible, particularly during times of high federal deficits. Critics may raise concerns that supporting large families on welfare increases the financial burden on taxpayers. Encouraging work: A central tenet of conservative welfare reform is tying benefits to work requirements. Proponents of this approach believe that it incentivizes work and helps people achieve self-sufficiency. House Republicans have recently proposed new or harsher work-reporting requirements for programs like the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) program. Some conservatives suggest that private-sector nonprofits and charitable organizations are more effective at addressing poverty than government-run welfare programs. They argue that this approach allows for more localized solutions and fosters a stronger sense of community responsibility while swimming upstream."Food stamps," serves roughly 42 million low-income Americans. The program, run by the USDA Food and Nutrition Service, issues electronic benefits that can be used like cash to purchase food. One of the biggest impacts of the government shutdown is about to hit tens of millions of the poorest Americans hard: the halting of a critical food assistance program. Several states are now warning they will be forced to suspend Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program benefits come Nov. 1 if the shutdown continues. Too often we hear that a family member has fallen on hard times and we reach out to them to provide assistance but what about when a stranger cries for help because of homelessness, hunger or mental illnesses, but we look the other way because of their skin pigmentation, filthy attire or deep rooted hatred. It is so easy to feel kindred to individuals of our ancestry, ethnicity and social status but do you apply the same blind faith and emotional linkage to individuals outside your social group or to strangers. MATTITHYAHU (MATTHEW) 24:11-14 את CEPHER And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. And because the transgression of the Torah shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. And this Besorah of the Kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. The Quran in Sahih Muslim 45, says: Who truly are your brothers and sisters and must they be directly tied to your familia? What divides mankind is neither skin pigmentation, dialect or sexual orientation but beliefs, religion and politics. It is generally understood as a Talmidiym to be responsible for the welfare of a sibling or, by extension, for other human beings in general. The phrase, however, is often used with the suggestion that people do have such a responsibility to care for and watch over their fellow human beings.
